Primary Care Provider is a Registered Nurse (RN), highly skilled and has over 21 years of clinical experience. He specializes and has extensive experience with the psychiatric population as well as dementia clients. He has prior background working in hospitals(cardiac nursing, medical/surgical units, and operating room) as well as nursing facilities. Note: There are multiple Secondary Caregivers that are female that also provide assistance with care at this home.

About This Home

Type of bed available: ARCH level. Able to accept Special diet. This Adult Residential Care Home is located in Ahuimanu neighborhood of Kaneohe. This stunning home is in a quiet attractive neighborhood in a cul de sac. It has a view of majestic Koolau mountain as well as lush tropical plants surrounding an expansive covered lanai. Home is gated. This home has a bright and comfortable private room with nice large windows that look out into lush greenery. This home and it's surroundings has an ambiance of tranquility and serenity. The primary Care Provider is an exceptional Registered Nurse with over 21 years of experience providing quality and compassionate care. Room Size: 110 sq. ft. Included in room: twin sized bed with beddings, night stand with lamp, lounge chair, table and chair set, and dresser. Note: A/C may be added upon request.

SERVICES PROVIDED:

24 hour supervision
Meals: nutritious home cooked meals 3 times a day and snacks. Per client's preferences & dietary restrictions.
Activities of Daily living: assistance with feeding, walking, transfers, bathing, toileting/incontinence care
Medication Management
Monitoring Vital Signs
Exercise: Offered daily and as needed; per doctor’s instructions. Residents may choose to participate in supervised walks in the home or outside sidewalk in the cul de sac.
Stimulating and Engaging Activities and Socialization: Individualized per client's preferences. Offerings include: water color painting, bingo, puzzles, singing/karaoke, gardening and outings to park or beach. Many of the activities are held in the large lanai where residents can relax as they are surrounded by nature. The Primary Care Provider also has a small pet dog (pomeranian mix) that visits residents periodically which is therapeutic for the the residents.
Laundry & Housekeeping
Transportation: Caregiver may provide free transportation as part of their service to doctor’s appointments for client’s able to transfer in and out of car. For clients requiring more assistance, caregiver can arrange for private transport which generally is an out of pocket expense for families/clients.
