This Adult Residential Care Home is located in  Hawaii Kai. This home has mountain views of Kuliouou and only minutes to the beach, shopping and clinics.  Easily accessible and conveniently located near  Kalaniana'ole Highway. This home is renovated with modern amenities and furnishings, it  has two living room spaces for residents to enjoy, and also a very nice backyard with a collection of bonsai trees. A lanai is currently being created for the residents so they can enjoy sitting outdoors overlooking mountain views. The private rooms are bright and inviting with beautiful Hawaiian quilt beddings and Island style decor. There is also a family cat who is   a very friendly, and has a sweet demeanor. Additional info: Care Provider may install an A/C upon request for additional monthly fee. NOTE: Additional photos available below for viewing. SERVICES PROVIDED: There are generally two full time  staff  available to provide assistance for the residents. Primary Care Provider also does haircuts and hair coloring at her home. • 24 hour supervision • Meals: nutritious home cooked meals 3 times a day and snacks. Per client's preferences & dietary restrictions. Types of meals prepared: Local and Asian foods-nishime, miso soup, baked salmon, beef stew, kalua pork, beef broccoli, pancit noodles, Filipino food. Fresh fruits served daily. • Activities of Daily living: assistance with feeding, walking, transfers, bathing, toileting/incontinence care • Medication Management • Monitoring Vital Signs • Exercise: Offered daily and as needed; per doctor’s instructions. Exercises offered daily. Supervised walking offered. • Activities: Individualized per client's preferences, including Arts and Crafts (puzzle, origami making, etc.). Outings to shopping malls or for a leisurely drive. • Laundry • Transportation: Caregiver may provide free transportation as part of their service to doctor’s appointments for client’s able to transfer in and out of car and if the appointment is located in town.  For appointments that are outside of town, Care Provider can assist with arranging private transport which would be the client's expense. For clients requiring more assistance, caregiver can arrange for private transport which generally is an out of pocket expense for families/clients.
