Recently, in September 2024, Elite Carefinders was recommended to me by my dad’s doctor’s social worker. I was looking for a carehome that would be closer to where my dad’s house is (and where we stay when we come back to Oahu). There were also some concerns with my dad’s mobility and how that was being addressed at his (now former) carehome. Rose reached out to me and we communicated via phone, email, and text. She asked for my preferences and what I was looking for, for my dad. I gave her quite a list! Of course I knew that it was probably impossible to find a place that met all of my preferences and desires. But I was hopeful. At first, it seemed that there might not be a “perfect” place, but a bed opened up at a carehome in the area I desired! Rose was on the phone with me and said she was going to do a FaceTime walkthrough for me. She was able to show me and my husband the carehome, and we also got a chance to speak with the owner. I then got on the plane the next day (from Colorado) to see the place in person. Rose met up with me at the carehome, and after my touring the home, we sat with the owner and talked for quite awhile. The more I spoke with the owner, the more confident I felt about the place. I brought my dad by the next day and gave a formal acceptance to place dad there. In the past, I had worked with a different referral agency. They were “ok,” and I was still quite stressed out with the process of finding a place. After working with Rose, I can confidently say that she is ABOVE AND BEYOND the rest. She provides true “CONCIERGE” service! She has a wealth of knowledge and will steer you in the right direction. One of her goals is to place a person in the RIGHT carehome the FIRST time. Rose has true care and compassion for those going through this finding-a-carehome process. She makes you feel comfortable and guides you through all the steps. My dad is doing really well at his new carehome. The owners and workers are very caring and go above and beyond for their residents. From day 1, they had my dad up and walking with a walker (with standby assistance)! This is after the previous carehome had him mostly in a wheelchair for two months. The owner is really nice and will even help FaceTime me on dad’s phone everyday after his lunch! And he often sends me pics of his meals (and how much he has eaten!). They consider my dad and me family, and I feel the same about them! I cannot thank you enough, Rose! You’re the best! Thank you also for all the sweet goodies and the “welcome” cake for dad! It made me and dad feel so special. Rose found a care home for my mother that exceeded our expectations. She was caring, responsive, and great to work with! Rose spent the time to understand our family’s needs. As a registered nurse, Rose was also able to assess my mother’s needs from a medical perspective. She provided several options and worked with our family to find the best long-term home for my mother. I was impressed with the excellent care home options that Rose presented as well as her expertise and insight. She enabled our family to quickly decide on a home that seemed to be the perfect fit for my mother. My mother was an avid gardener, and this home has a beautiful garden that my mother enjoys. The caregiver is also an RN who provides outstanding care and can work with my mother’s special medical needs. My family and I are eternally grateful to Rose. Her expertise and guidance were key to finding the right home for my mother.

Finding a home or facilty for a loved one is a daunting, depressing and stressful task. We looked at half a dozen places on the other side of the mountain. I called many facilities as well. The other side of the mountain has more care homes due to the population. However, we knew that if we secured one on the other side of the mountain, our loved one would be forgotten due to location. Well, I happen to click on a website home located minutes from us. Which led us to Rose. She called several times because she wanted to know our needs and preferences. She listened well.
